1. Who we are

RustWire (rustwire.co.uk) is a Discord bot and web portal for the Rust gaming community, registered in the United Kingdom.

2. What data we collect

When you log in with Discord we receive and store your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and a list of shared servers. When you use the community chat we store your message content, username, avatar URL, and timestamp. We also use Vercel Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymous usage data.

3. How we use your data

To authenticate you, power the community chat, and improve the website. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Data storage

Chat messages and user data are stored in Supabase (EU region). Your Discord token is stored only in your browser's localStorage and is never sent to our servers.

RustWire provides a Discord bot and companion web portal for the Rust gaming community, including but not limited to server statistics, command references, changelog updates, a community showcase, live community chat, and a user dashboard. You must have a valid Discord account and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to use features that require login. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for all activity that occurs through it while connected to our Service.

Post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, abusive, or sexually explicit content
Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users or staff

The RustWire name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of RustWire and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without prior written permission. Rust and Facepunch Studios trademarks belong to their respective owners; RustWire is an independent, fan-made project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Discord, Supabase, Vercel, and Ko-fi. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices.

Donations made through our Ko-fi page are voluntary contributions to support development and hosting costs. Donations are non-refundable and do not entitle the donor to any guaranteed feature, priority support, or ownership stake in the Service, unless explicitly stated at the time of donation.
